Photographs and AI have limits

A photograph cannot reveal every hidden defect, material, code requirement, contamination, load, pressure, voltage or cause. AI can misidentify objects and hazards. Confidence labels are estimates, never guarantees.

Stop and get qualified help

• Electrical wiring, switchboards, batteries, solar systems, electric shock, arcing or water near electricity.
• Gas, fuel, carbon monoxide, unusual chemical smells, smoke, fire, overheating or explosion risk.
• Structural cracks, movement, collapse, load-bearing elements, roofs, foundations, retaining walls or major water damage.
• Known or suspected asbestos, serious mould, lead, hazardous chemicals, biological contamination or unknown powders or fibres.
• Flooding, pressurised systems, heights, confined spaces, sharp or unstable objects, or any emergency.

Emergency action

If there is immediate danger, leave the area, keep others away and contact the appropriate emergency service or utility. Do not approach a suspected gas leak, live electrical source, fire, unstable structure or hazardous material to take another photograph.

User responsibility

Follow manufacturer instructions, permits, codes, landlord and insurer requirements, protective-equipment guidance and licensed professional directions. Stop if conditions differ from the report, worsen or exceed your skill. Users under 18 must involve a responsible adult and must not attempt hazardous work.
