1. Draft status and acceptance

By creating an account or using FixLens after these Terms take effect, a user agrees to the version presented during registration. Material updates should be presented for renewed acceptance.

2. The service

FixLens uses artificial intelligence to analyse user-supplied photographs and descriptions and provide general, preliminary home-repair information. Results may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a particular property. FixLens is not an inspection, trade service, engineering opinion, or professional advice.

3. Eligibility and accounts

• Users must be legally able to enter a binding agreement in their location.
• Users must provide accurate account details, protect their password, and promptly report suspected unauthorised access.
• One person may not create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not upload unlawful content or content you lack permission to use.
• Do not probe, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass security, billing, or usage controls.
• Do not rely on FixLens for emergencies or dangerous work.

5. User content and licence

Users retain ownership of their photographs and descriptions. Users grant the service a limited licence to process submitted content solely to operate, secure, and improve the requested service, subject to the Privacy Policy. Confirm any broader training or improvement use with counsel before enabling it.

6. Plans, billing and cancellation

Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe according to the price and interval shown at checkout. FixLens does not store complete card details. Cancellation and refund rights are described in the Refund and Cancellation Policy. Insert any mandatory consumer disclosures required in Australia.

7. Availability and changes

The service may change, be suspended, or be discontinued. Reasonable notice should be provided where required by law. No guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation is made.

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. Have counsel draft liability limits appropriate to the business, insurance, users, and governing law.

9. Termination

Access may be suspended or terminated for serious or repeated breach, fraud, safety risks, or non-payment, subject to applicable notice and consumer-law requirements. Users may delete their account from the dashboard.
